My stance on AI
Simply put, I do not use AI in my work. That means I do
not use it to generate code, I do not use it to help me
write posts, I do not use it when making art. I have
worked hard to study and practice my skills, I would
rather spend a lifetime creating something I am proud
of than spending an afternoon generating stolen
garbage.
I am not a luddite, I understand that AI is here and it will not go away. However, I do not support it being used to replace skill or jobs. I believe that all people have the potential to express themselves, and that AI generative tools reduces the passion of creativity down to a product meant to be created quickly. It is not created cheaply, as the cost of running generative AI technologies is inexcusable, and contributes to the destruction of our planet and the erosion of our livelihoods.
